Overview
In this rotational pharmacist role, you contribute to patient care across physical and mental health settings within CNWL. You will develop clinically and professionally through rotations, with progression to band 7 upon meeting in-house criteria and portfolio review. The position involves weekend/on-call duties after induction and offers exposure to inpatient and community mental health services. You will work in a supportive, forward-thinking environment, advancing medicines optimisation and clinical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred pharmaceutical care and maintain effective interpersonal and organisational skills
- Participate in weekend duty and on-call rotas following induction
- Rotate between Harrow and Brent sites in inpatient and community mental health settings
- Support medicines optimisation and contribute to safe, effective use of medicines
- Engage in professional development through the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy as part of the role
Key requirements
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Master's Degree in Pharmacy
- Working towards or willing to work towards Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy
- Experience in hospital or community settings with medicines management
- Knowledge of clinical governance principles and SOPs
- Accurate dispensing and checking of prescriptions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
