We require an enthusiastic team player to join the Reservations Team as a Reservations Advisor. This role will involve meeting and greeting patients, welcoming the patients to the Hospital and escorting them to their room.
Main duties of the job include:
- Managing admissions, admitting patients, dealing with deposits/medical insurance and escorting patients to their rooms.
- Admitting patients onto Pims system & updating any new/changed patient details.
- Printing & collating of paperwork for next day's admissions.
- Retrieving & preparing patient notes.
- Processing paperwork for patient bookings and sending the relevant information to patients before admission.
- Booking outpatient appointments and dealing with secretarial enquiries.
- Covering the Outpatient Diary Coordinator during periods of leave.
- Liaising with sponsoring bodies, including Embassies, regarding patient sponsorship.
- Presenting a high standard of customer care in dealing with patients, secretaries and consultants.
- Collecting, replenishing & delivering trolley for assembly of patient notes.
- Dealing with general telephone enquiries.
- Being responsible for the replenishing of office supplies.
- General office filing.

Person Specification:
- Previous relevant experience working in a medical/healthcare environment or undertaking a similar role.
- Organisation skills and the ability to prioritise.
- Professionalism and courteousness.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Proven IT skills.
- The ability to work accurately and with a high volume of work during peak times.
- The ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
- Ability to ensure that all information is recorded accurately.
