Overview
In this role, you lead Alexandra Gardens to deliver specialist, person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will drive service development, financial sustainability, and partnerships with families, professionals, and purchasers. The position emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and strategic influence to shape long-term care quality and outcomes. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support residents and staff, fostering an inclusive, dignified culture.

Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership of Alexandra Gardens and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Develop collaborative relationships with community multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining service sustainability
- Build and maintain partnerships with purchasers and referrers
- Contribute to strategic development and future direction of the service
- Support and develop staff to grow in their roles
- Engage with families, advocates, and external professionals to enhance resident wellbeing
- Uphold the organisation's values and ensure care remains central to decision-making
Key requirements
- Genuine passion for supporting people with learning disabilities
- Strong management track record in the healthcare sector, with residential or specialist experience
- Experience as a Registered Manager and understanding of associated responsibilities
- Warm, inclusive, and inspiring leadership style
- Thoughtful approach to service development and people management
- Ability to support financial sustainability without compromising care
- Experience working with individuals with communication difficulties, sensory impairments, or physical health needs
