Overview
In this role you will deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support for children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs, in a multidisciplinary CAMHS setting. You will conduct assessments, develop person-centred PBS plans, and provide family coaching to reduce behaviours of concern and improve quality of life. You will collaborate with families, schools and partners to ensure coordinated, holistic care and promote trauma-informed, least restrictive practices. The opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred support and contributing to service development.

Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop PBS plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and psychoeducation for neurodevelopmental conditions
- Monitor outcomes, conduct risk assessments and safeguarding
- Provide specialist PBS consultation to professionals and teams
- Collaborate with families and carers to strengthen wellbeing and relationships
- Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning and staff training
- Develop and deliver training/workshops promoting PBS and least restrictive practice
- Maintain accurate records and support QA, audits, and NICE guideline implementation
Key requirements
- Prior CAMHS experience
- 1st Degree qualification
- Experience in mental health
- Strong communication and briefing skills
- Collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to coach families and carers
