Overview
In this role you will lead infrastructure architecture and design to align LAS digital services with Trust strategy, standardising products and governance. You will develop roadmaps and architectural artefacts across 999 Operations, Emergency Care, Integrated Urgent Care and corporate functions. You’ll provide expert guidance on architecture and security, supporting the Digital & Data agenda and Architecture Review Board. This is a strategic, cross‑functional position with tangible impact on patient care and staff experience.

Responsibilities
- Identify current business and infrastructure architectures and create long‑term roadmaps for all Trust domains
- Translate business requirements into aligned digital capabilities and future designs
- Produce designs for information, software and infrastructure across LAS functions using standardised principles
- Collate and provide architectural information to support infrastructure management and governance
- Monitor Architecture services against a recognised Architecture Maturity Model
- Provide architectural expertise and assistance to staff and managers inside and outside Digital & Data
- Deliver architectural and design services across Trust areas to enable the digital transformation
- Support governance processes and the Architecture Review Board with artefacts, policies and reports
Key requirements
- Degree level in IT-related subject or extensive senior IT management experience
- ITIL Managing Professional level qualified or achieve within 6 months
- TOGAF 9/10 Foundation & Certification or obtain within 12 months
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or obtain within 12 months
- Recent and relevant technical and solutions design experience in a large organisation using a recognised framework
- Adhere to the Trust values and behaviours
