Overview
In this leadership role you will oversee the Income team to ensure robust financial planning, reporting and income management in line with statutory and professional standards. You will drive the Trust’s financial sustainability by monitoring budgets, producing statutory reports and evaluating projects. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial colleagues, and occasionally deputise for the Associate Director of Finance. This is a chance to contribute to essential public health services within a mission-driven NHS Trust.

- Lead, motivate and manage the income team to meet organisational objectives
- Oversee financial planning ensuring compliance with statutory and professional standards
- Support financial sustainability by monitoring budgets, preparing statutory reports and evaluating projects
- Explain financial concepts to non-financial colleagues
- Manage contract negotiations and evaluate projects effectively
Key requirements
- CCAB qualification or equivalent experience
- Extensive managerial experience including line management
- Public sector experience with budget monitoring and preparation
- Experience in preparing statutory reports for internal and external purposes
- Experience in contract negotiations and project evaluation
- Deputising for the Associate Director of Finance when required
