In this Haemato-Oncology Pharmacist role you will contribute to a leading cancer centre by delivering specialist pharmaceutical care across the haemato-oncology unit. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting the transplant programme and CAR-T services, with opportunities to develop practice, leadership, and management skills. The role sits at the heart of a world-class cancer centre focused on excellent patient care, research, and innovation. You will engage in medicines optimisation and governance within the Trust, making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the haemato-oncology unit as part of the multidisciplinary team
- Support Clinical Governance and Risk Management strategies across the department and Trust
- Flexibly cover day unit, outpatient, ambulatory, and clinic areas to assess prescribing and promote medicines optimisation
- Initiate transplant training passport and work towards/maintain competence to clinically support the transplant programme (JACIE standards)
Key requirements
- GPhC registered Pharmacist
- Certificate in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent; Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent
- Hospital Pharmacy experience in an NHS or equivalent setting delivering clinical pharmacy services
- Good organisational and time management
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Awareness of developments in clinical pharmacy
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Clinical governance and risk management
- Aseptic technique and preparation of injections (desirable)
