Salaried GP position in a friendly and enthusiastic practice set within Tottenham, North London. We are a large training practice currently looking for a Salaried GP with a view to partnership to cover up to 8 sessions per week.
Standard BMA contract and Medical Indemnity Cover will be provided. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Duties include:
- Telephone/video/virtual and face-to-face consultations
- Visiting patients associated with a GP working within primary care
- Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
- Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
- Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols
- Providing counselling and health education
- Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload
- Collecting data for audit purposes
- Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions
- Contributing to the development of computer-based patient records
- Attending training and events organised by the practice
Qualities required:
- MRCGP Qualification
- Full registration with the General Medical Council
- Membership of a recognised medical defence organisation
- Registration on the Primary Medical Service Performers List
