Overview
In this role you will lead the fire safety services and support the broader health and safety functions across LNWH. You join a small team within the Estates & Facilities Directorate to ensure compliance with nationally recognised standards for patients, visitors and staff. You will operate across multiple Trust sites, providing proactive planning and development to drive safe, compliant environments. This position offers a meaningful impact by safeguarding people while collaborating with cross-functional teams to sustain safety excellence. A strong hook is your ability to translate complex safety requirements into practical, trust-wide improvements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation, planning and development of fire safety services across the Trust
- Provide support to health and safety services in line with national standards
- Ensure functions are delivered to nationally agreed and recognised standards
- Travel across and cover all Trust premises to maintain compliance and advisory support

- Suitably qualified, experienced and motivated
- Extensive knowledge of and experience in fire and health and safety matters
