Overview
In this role you will advance the Trust’s data warehouse and information management to support clinical services. You will lead data engineering and BI initiatives, collaborating with clinical and informatics teams to enable timely, accurate, and accessible information for performance and improvement. The position offers exposure to challenging projects and a chance to shape data-driven decision making within a large NHS Trust.

Responsibilities
- Develop and support the Trust's data warehouse and information management capabilities; act as the subject matter expert for business intelligence
- Provide technical authority for BI and support digital change initiatives
- Assist design and implementation of informatics solutions to meet reporting requirements and performance management
- Ensure a robust technical environment enabling reliable information for service change and continuous improvement
- Develop self-serve data reporting tools for KPIs, capacity, demand, and data quality metrics
- Ensure data management and reporting compliance with Information Governance, data protection, and NHS standards
- Oversee data models and optimise data processes and design for a good user experience
Key requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in IT/Science (or senior IT experience)
- Continuous professional development
- Experience with SQL Server 2016+, strong T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS
- Desirable SQL Azure, Power BI, Python, PowerShell scripting
- Database design and administration; programming knowledge
- Teamworking and interpersonal skills
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required
