Looking to develop your career in one of the UK's largest NHS data protection teams? We're looking for a motivated and proactive Data Protection Advisor to join our friendly, high-performing team supporting Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and West & North West London Integrated Care Board, including over 350 GP practices.
You'll specialise in supporting digital transformation projects, advising on the implementation of new clinical systems, medical devices, applications and procurements, helping ensure privacy is embedded from the outset. You'll prepare and review data protection documentation (such as DPIAs and DPAs) and other key governance documentation while working alongside clinical, digital, procurement and operational teams.

The post holder will support the Data Protection Office (DPO) team in ensuring the Trust's compliance with data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, Common Law Duty of Confidentiality, and all other related legislation. The role will provide specialist administrative and analytical support across a range of workstreams, including privacy, incidents, data subject rights, assurances for digital, operational, and secondary use implementation, and risk management. The post holder will contribute to the maintenance of high standards of data protection and the promotion of a culture of data protection and confidentiality across the organisations.
