Job summaryConsultant post in Respiratory MedicineThe appointment is for two full-time, substantive, consultant physicians within respiratory medicine. The post holders will deliver respiratory outpatient clinics and contribute to the rotating respiratory ward consultant model, with plenty of scope to develop their own sub speciality interest and share the interventional work. Applications are invited from Full time, Part time and Job Share applicants. If a person is appointed as a part-time or job share position modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the trust in consultation with consultant colleagues. The post holder will work with the existing consultants to develop services in respiratory medicine. The new post holder will share the respiratory ward and in-reach referrals in a rolling rota along with four other respiratory consultants with blocks of time on and off the ward. The post-holder will have a job plan detailing all duties, which will be agreed between the consultant, Service / Clinical Director for Medicine and the General Manager for medicine. An interim job plan can be requested by either party, if necessary.
