Overview
In this role you will lead the Psychosis Pathway within the Locality Team as part of NLFT’s transformation towards a holistic, recovery-oriented biopsychosocial model. You will work to integrate NHS, voluntary sector, peer support, and community partners to improve prevention and sustained recovery for people with psychosis. You will partner with primary care and other providers to shape cross-agency care and drive MDT decision-making. This is a mission-critical role at the heart of North London’s community mental health improvement.

Responsibilities
- Lead clinical management of the Psychosis Pathway and provide strategic direction
- Foster MDT discussions and support complex clinical decision making
- Build and maintain cross-agency relationships with VCOs, GPs, and other NHS partners
- Promote a biopsychosocial approach and a recovery-oriented model of care
- Ensure travel within the geographical area to cover the designated locality
- Represent the pathway in multi-disciplinary settings and with senior managers
Key requirements
- Extensive clinical experience in mental health
- Ability to travel within the geographical work area
- Ability to support others with complex clinical decision making and lead MDT discussions
- Educated to degree level or equivalent gained through experience
- Current professional registration (RMN, OT, SW, or similar) with relevant body
- Evidence of mental health training and ongoing professional development
- Experience in supervising and appraising staff
