An opportunity is available for a Practice Manager to support the existing Practice Manager in delivering effective operational management within a busy rural practice. We are looking for a permanent, long-term candidate who will become an integral part of our organisation. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
Main duties of the job:
- Help lead practice management activities
- Review practice policies in line with CQC compliance
- Lead role in dealing with complaints
- Organise meetings for significant events
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Manage patient flow
- Support staff recruitment and retention
- Promote a supportive and caring culture for staff
Previous experience of practice management in GP surgery would be an advantage.

- Desirable: Association Member of IPGM in view of becoming a full member (MIGPM), AMSPAR qualification (level 5 in Primary Care and Health Management)
