Job summaryPrimary Care Clinical Pharmacist - Market Rasen SurgeryWe are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking clinical pharmacist to join Market Rasen Surgery, Lincolnshire. We are looking for a pharmacist to develop and manage all aspects of medicines across the practice network. Working with highly skilled multi-disciplinary teams, we currently have 2 pharmacists and 1 pharmacy technicians.You will work in a patient-centred role based in the surgeries along with some hybrid working. This is an evolving role with huge scope for development, we will support you with your independent prescribing course if required. We serve a largely rural community of approximately 10600 patients over approximately 200 square miles.The practice is contracted by the ICB to provide general medical services to our patient population. As well as general medical services, we also provide many additional services, including minor surgery such as vasectomies, hernias and skin procedures in our purpose-built theatre.In addition to the 2 GP Partners and 8 salaried GPs, we have 3 ACPs, highly skilled practice nurses who carry out general nursing duties, also manages the care of patients with conditions such as asthma or other respiratory disease, diabetes and chronic heart disease.We also employ an older adults nurse who carries out reviews of patients and supports them with their day to day activities.The nursing team is supplemented by trained HCAs who take blood, monitor warfarin levels and take basic data such as height and weight.We also have a team of attached nursing staff who look after our patients.
