Overview
As Clinical Operations Manager, lead a values‑driven, evidence‑based service delivering early mental health support to children, young people and families via MHSTs. You’ll oversee clinical quality, supervision and governance, grow the service, mentor staff, and maintain high standards across partners. You’ll shape workforce development, contribute to audits and service improvement, and act as a catalyst for positive change in a collaborative, impact‑driven environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead on clinical quality, supervision and governance to ensure safe and impactful delivery
- Mentor practitioners and support workforce development, including trainees and supervisors
- Manage risk and uphold high standards across the service and with partners
- Provide clinical leadership and promote whole school approaches
- Contribute to audits, performance reviews and service development
- Drive service growth and evolution in collaboration with the Service Manager
- Support multi-agency collaboration and maintain strong safeguarding practices
- Act as a catalyst for positive change and continuous improvement
Key requirements
- Core professional mental health qualification (e.g. nursing, psychology)
- Postgraduate CBT training or willingness to undertake
- Senior/leadership experience in CYP mental health services
- Experience delivering clinical supervision
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience
- Excellent communication, risk management and organisational skills
- Values-driven approach and ability to work across teams and agencies
- Full UK driving licence or equivalent access to transport
