Job summaryThe ICST is a CAMHS service providing intensive outreach and intervention for children and young people (CYP) with the most complex needs.The service operates between the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team and inpatient services.The team prioritises CYP who experience repeated crises and engage in high-risk behaviours.It supports young people whose needs may be better met in the community, where inpatient admission could potentially increase longer-term risk.The cohort typically includes young people with emotional dysregulation, significant trauma histories, ASD, intellectual disabilities, and associated high-risk behaviours.The team is committed to offering intensive, psychologically informed support to ensure the best possible care, in the community.The team will offer an enhanced model of care to young people and their families working alongside existing services to develop a holistic and integrated personalised plan of care using trauma informed approaches.Within the senior leadership team learning and development opportunities are supported both through in-house training and external provision.
