Salaried GP in Leeds

Alwoodley Medical Centre is seeking a compassionate, motivated and patient-centred Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred clinical care, contribute to the ongoing development of the practice and help us maintain the highest standards of care for our diverse patient population. Main duties of the job include:

• Providing high-quality, patient-centred care through routine and urgent GP consultations.
• Building long-term relationships with patients while contributing to the ongoing development of clinical services and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participating in clinical meetings, significant event reviews, quality improvement activity and practice development initiatives.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional and regulatory requirements.
• Prescribing safely and effectively in accordance with local and national guidance.

Person Specification:

• Experience: Essential experience working as a General Practitioner in a primary care setting, managing a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions, and working effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Qualifications: Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a current licence to practise, qualified General Practitioner with a recognised UK GP qualification (e.g., MRCGP or equivalent).
• Knowledge: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to provide compassionate, patient-centred care, and commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
