Responsibilities
- Lead the category procurement strategy for corporate services or property
- Develop sourcing strategies and run competitive processes to secure contracts
- Provide commercial contract management support and manage supplier relationships
- Drive efficiency, innovation and staff development within the function
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and legislation
- Provide professional commercial advice and support
- Collaborate with contract owners to improve patient outcomes
- Support cross-functional teams through procurement leadership
Key requirements
- Category management experience
- MCIPS qualification or equivalent experience
- Evidence of achievements in savings and/or service improvements
- Desirable NHS or Public sector experience
- Contract management experience

- At least 5 years in procurement, contracting or managing contracts
