Overview

In this role you will design and deliver engaging leadership and learning & development training to a broad NHS workforce. You will create immersive, multi-method learning experiences both remotely and face-to-face, collaborating with fellow trainers to align solutions with organisational objectives. The role is fast-paced, requiring agility and energy, while offering a supportive environment focused on development and wellbeing. You will contribute to a mission of outstanding care by building staff capabilities and delivering meaningful training impact.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging training content across leadership and learning & development topics
  • Create and translate immersive learning experiences for remote and in-person delivery
  • Collaborate with fellow trainers and leads to align training solutions with organisational objectives
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate training events to meet diverse learning needs
  • Support personal and professional development through ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Travel between sites as required and maintain high standards under pressure

Key requirements

  • Up-to-date knowledge of training delivery and development
  • Understanding of teaching and learning theory and best practices
  • Experience in planning, creating, leading and evaluating training events
  • IT literate with good knowledge of IT Packages (Microsoft Office)
  • Significant experience in developing and delivering training programmes
  • Excellent group facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time, work under pressure and adapt to change
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated, flexible team worker
  • Rehabilitation/Disclosure checks as required
