Job summaryThe Senior Procurement Manager will support the Contracts and Procurement Team to deliver system transformation and best practice through delivering the LLR system's commissioning objectives and Integrated Care Board (ICB) statutory and delegated responsibilities through the planning, negotiation and management of a range of health care contracts across the full portfolio of Primary, Neighbourhood, Community, Mental Health and Learning Disability and Acute Care. community and acute care. Acting as the principal link between provider selection activity and the strategic commissioning and business planning functions of the ICB Cluster, ensuring commissioning intentions are translated into compliant and effective procurement, contracting and market management approaches. Providing specialist advice and support on provider selection, procurement and commercial matters to commissioners, programme leads and senior stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with strategic priorities. Ensuring that procurement and commercial activity is delivered in a timely way and achieves value for money, service transformation, and reflects best practice - to include development of clear service specifications, service standards, activity levels, quality requirements and outcome measures. There is an expectation of 40% on patch working, with office bases at County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester and Haylock House, Kettering.
