Overview
In this Consultant Radiologist role, you will contribute to the department’s general workload and join the on-call rota, supporting Medway Imaging in delivering high-quality radiology services. You will work within a dynamic team as part of the Diagnostics and Therapies group, contributing to patient-first care and ongoing transformation within the Trust. Responsibilities
- Contribute to the general radiology workload
- Participate in the on-call rota (full-time, post-probation)
- Adhere to departmental procedures within a 10 PA contract
- Work within a progressive imaging team led by consulting colleagues
Key requirements
- Full GMC Registration with licence to practise
- FRCR/CCST/CCT/CESR or equivalent in radiology (or within 6 months of interview)
- IELTS Academic 7.5 or equivalent international medical graduate status
- Knowledge of cross-sectional imaging (CT/MRI/Ultrasound/Plain Film)
- Competence in CT, Plain Film and Ultrasound; MRI beneficial
- Specialist interest in Upper GI and Haematology
- Disclosure and Barring Service check
- UK professional registration

- CT imaging (Toshiba 64- and 126-slice)
- MRI imaging (GE 3T HDXT; Siemens Magnetom Aera)
- Ultrasound imaging (Toshiba systems)
- Fluoroscopy and Interventional Suite experience
