Overview
In this Salaried GP role you will deliver patient-centred general medical care within a friendly, multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to a well-established practice that supports work-life balance while handling a full range of GP services. You’ll work across face-to-face and remote consultations, manage diverse medical conditions, and contribute to quality improvement and care planning. This is an opportunity to impact local community health in a forward-thinking practice and PCN setting.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and urgent GP consultations (face-to-face, telephone, online)
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Undertake home visits where appropriate
- Prescribe and review medications per guidelines
- Manage pathology results, correspondence, and clinical reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team (pharmacists, mental health, social prescribers, ARRS roles)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance
- Attend practice and clinical meetings; support continuity of care and long-term condition management
- Maintain accurate clinical records using SystmOne; ensure timely administrative tasks
Key requirements
- Fully qualified General Practitioner
- GMC registration with licence to practise
- Inclusion on NHS England Medical Performers List
- Current UK professional registration
- DBS check
