Overview
In this role you will lead planning, delivery and evaluation of Surrey and Sussex Training Hubs programmes that develop the primary care workforce. You will coordinate cross‑functional workstreams across Training Hubs, PCPCs and ICB, ensuring delivery, governance, and impact. You will foster partnerships, use data to inform decisions and report to senior leaders, while identifying collaboration opportunities and safeguarding value for money. This is a chance to shape education and mentorship initiatives at scale in Sussex and Surrey.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for S&S Training Hubs programme management across multiple partners
- Lead designated programmes and manage the programme support team and workstreams
- Prioritise initiatives at risk of non-delivery and implement risk mitigation
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement with strong governance and oversight
- Oversee Primary Care Mentorship Programme to support workforce development and retention
- Ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Monitor performance, manage risks, and escalate issues as needed
- Develop and expand education, training, and workforce development opportunities across Sussex
- Ensure robust data collection, analysis and reporting to inform decisions and governance
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement across PCPCs, ICBs, and wider partners
- Track impact and return on investment and report to senior management and governance groups
- Support funding proposals, business cases and contract opportunities
- Contribute to sustainable education, mentorship and workforce development initiatives across Sussex
Key requirements
- Experience of managing complex programmes or multiple interdependent projects from planning through to evaluation
- Delivery against timescales, budgets, quality standards and governance requirements
- Risk and issue management, dependencies, and prioritisation
- Data analysis, performance reporting and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders
