b Overview /b p In this role you lead a schools-based mental health team (MHST) delivering early intervention for mood, anxiety, and behaviours in mainstream schools. You will combine senior clinical work with operational leadership to shape service development and improve outcomes for CYP. You’ll work closely with schools, contribute to training and supervise staff, and benefit from strong CPD opportunities and supervision from a Principal Clinical Psychologist. This is a chance to influence practice and scale evidence-based support for young people in West London. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li CPD opportunities /li li regular supervision /li li staff well-being /li li career development /li li professional development support /li li permanent contract /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide day-to-day senior operational management and leadership for the MHSTs clinical functioning /li li Lead on comprehensive assessment, risk management and interventions for young people /li li Collaborate with school staff to develop supportive school environments for emotional wellbeing /li li Develop and implement a range of interventions and projects with local schools /li li Contribute to service development initiatives and lead in designated areas /li li Provide professional supervision and contribute to staff development /li li Engage in cross-team collaboration and external partnership building /li li Support the development of evidence-based practices for CYP in schools /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Doctoral level training in clinical psychology including psychopathology, psychometrics and neuropsychology /li li Two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology /li li Eligible to work as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical/Counselling) with HCPC /li li Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment for children/adolescents in CAMHS /li li Experience of teaching, training and supervision/reflection in professional settings /li li Experience implementing evidence-based approaches to low mood, anxiety and behaviour problems /li li Strong communication and consultation skills /li li Knowledge of legislation relating to the client group and mental health /li li Continuing professional development as recommended by HCPC /li /ul ul li leadership /li li collaboration /li li clear communication /li li complex psychological assessment /li li psychological intervention planning /li li risk assessment and management /li /ul
