Overview

In this rural, two-site general practice, you will provide broad GP care as part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team. You will join with a path to partnership, supporting succession planning and maintaining a patient-centred service without total triage. You’ll work flexibly (6–8 sessions) and may include care home visits, collaborating with an in-house pharmacy, physiotherapy, and visiting paramedics. The role offers stability in a financially robust practice with strong leadership and clear systems.

Responsibilities

  • Flexible sessions (6–8) including admin time
  • Care home visit potential
  • Collaborate with PCN visiting team and ARRS staff
  • Provide broad/general practice care across a mixed patient population
  • Support continuity and patient-centred service in a two-site rural setting

Key requirements

  • Full GMC registration
  • Inclusion on the NHS England performers list
  • MRCGP (or equivalent)
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Disclosure and Barring Service check
  • Current UK professional registration
  • Motivated and proactive
  • Team player with collaborative approach
  • Strong communication skills
