Overview
In this role you will provide expert psychiatric assessment and integrated care for patients in a dynamic hospital setting as part of the Portsmouth Liaison Psychiatry Team. You will lead clinical care across mental health presentations and contribute to service transformation within the Trust. You will work with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver high-quality care and support education, research, and leadership development. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and evidence-based consultations
- Deliver expert psychiatric care and integrated services for diverse presentations
- Offer clinical leadership and contribute to transformation initiatives
- Support education, training, research, and development opportunities
- Participate in flexible or blended job plans and cross-specialty collaboration
- Contribute to governance and quality improvement within the team
Key requirements
- MRCPsych or recognised equivalent
- CCT in general adult psychiatry
- Full Registration with the General Medical Council
- Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register
- Approved under section 12 of the Mental Health Act 1983
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check
