Join our Breast Screening Team at the Jarvis Centre, Guildford, as a Mammographer. You will provide high-quality breast imaging across mobile units and the centre, supporting early detection of breast cancer. Work within a multi-disciplinary team of radiologists, advanced practitioners, and clinical staff, following NHSBSP triple assessment principles. This role offers professional development opportunities, including mentoring assistant practitioners and deputising for the Superintendent Radiographer. Full-time or Part-time hours considered, Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job:
- Take accurate mammograms and participate in Quality Assurance Support Assessment Clinics, including stereotactic biopsies.
- Mentor and supervise Assistant Practitioners.
- Work across mobile screening sites and the Jarvis Centre.
- Maintain equipment, records, CPD portfolio, and clinical standards.
- Provide care with empathy, reassuring nervous clients.
- Stay updated with breast imaging techniques and NHSBSP guidelines.
