Overview
In this Consultant Psychiatrist role, you will provide psychiatric oversight within the CAMHS MDT to support young people across Gloucestershire. You will lead clinical care quality and provide MDT leadership to ensure evidence-based interventions reach clinics county-wide. The post involves collaborating with specialist CAMHS clinics and liaising with local bases and outreach teams to deliver patient-centred care. This permanent, full-time post offers a meaningful opportunity to shape child and adolescent mental health services in a diverse trust.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric oversight to the MDT for young people
- Support the MDT through clinical leadership and governance of care quality
- Collaborate with Specialist CAMHS clinics across Gloucestershire and contribute to outreach and in-school interventions
Key requirements
- CCT or 6 months away from CCT to specialist register
- CAMHS specialism
- Full GMC Registration or eligibility to be on the register and current licence to practise
- Significant CAMHS experience
- Experience of multidisciplinary team working
