Responsibilities
- Conduct consultant-led dermatology clinics and specialist assessments
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of dermatological conditions
- Develop personalised treatment and management plans
- Discuss diagnoses, treatment options and risks with patients
- Arrange appropriate investigations, treatment and follow-up
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Provide clinical correspondence to referring clinicians
- Collaborate with the wider clinical and administrative team
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical governance and professional practice
- Work within recognised scope of practice and agreed practising privileges
- Support development of the dermatology service through specialist interests
Key requirements
- Full GMC registration and licence to practise
- Appropriate specialist training and Consultant-level experience
- Relevant experience within dermatology
