This is a permanent, full-time post comprising 10 Programmed Activities (PAs) per week.Main duties of the jobThis post offers an exciting opportunity to join a progressive, collaborative and forward-thinking General Surgery department. The post has been developed to support service expansion and to ensure continuity in the delivery of high-quality elective care. We are seeking to appoint a consultant with prior Upper GI/Hepatobiliary training and anticipate that the successful appointees will be able to undertake a broad range of elective and emergency procedures from an early stage in their appointment.The appointee will also be expected to contribute to the Emergency General Surgery (EGS) service as required to support the effective running of the department.
