b Overview /b p In this role you will lead income finance for the Trust, ensuring accurate reporting, income recovery and planning for over 1bn in clinical income. You will partner with senior finance, operations and commissioning colleagues to inform strategic financial decisions and improve data quality. You’ll help maximise financial performance while supporting annual planning and business cases. This is a chance to influence NHS income management in a complex, prestigious organisation that prioritises excellent patient care and sustainability. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li flexible working /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide expert advice on the NHS Payment Scheme, commissioner contracts and income recovery /li li Support annual planning, business cases and strategic financial decision-making /li li Collaborate with senior finance, operational and commissioning colleagues /li li Ensure robust income reporting and data quality improvements /li li Help maximise the Trusts financial performance through insights and governance /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li CCAB qualification (or equivalent) /li li Significant NHS finance experience in income management and reporting /li li Experience in health service finance, procurement systems and policy /li li Proven track record in financial management and stakeholder engagement /li li Knowledge of NHS patient activity definitions, OPCS/ICD, HRG, tariffs and commissioning /li /ul ul li Advanced persuasion and negotiation /li li Strong leadership and people management /li li Excellent communication with all levels of the organisation /li li NHS income management and reporting /li li NHS Payment Scheme and commissioning knowledge /li li Understanding of HRG, OPCS/ICD and national tariffs /li /ul
