b Overview /b p In this role you will advance specialist practice within a dynamic NHS trust, rotating across Emergency, Oncology/Haematology, Frailty, and other clinical areas to shape patient care. You will work with consultant-led teams to influence prescribing decisions and lead medicines safety and quality improvements. The program supports foundation training and leadership development, with technology-enabled practice to enhance patient-facing care. This is a chance to develop expert skills on the Isle of Wight and contribute to a patient-centered pharmacy service. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li travel costs support /li li development opportunities in specialist practice /li li rotation across multiple clinical areas /li li consultant-led teams /li li patient-centered care environment /li li team-oriented culture /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on prescribing decisions /li li Undertake rotations across Oncology/Haematology, frailty/older person care, urgent and emergency services, and other clinical areas /li li Monitor prescriptions and develop patient-centered pharmaceutical care plans /li li Ensure seamless pharmaceutical care through accurate drug histories and discharge planning /li li Contribute to medicines safety and quality improvement initiatives /li li Mentor and train other pharmacy and healthcare professionals /li li Provide line management support /li li Participate in education and health promotion activities /li li Represent pharmacy in Trust meetings /li li Contribute to a weekday service with some weekend and on-call duties (home-based with initial screening) /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Master of Pharmacy /li li Current listing on the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) register /li li Diploma in pharmacy practice or equivalent experience /li li Completed general level framework competency training /li li Significant experience in a pharmaceutical environment and hospital pharmacy /li li Knowledge of national guidelines relating to medicines and pharmaceutical practice /li li Specialist knowledge and experience in a clinical specialty /li /ul ul li strong clinical knowledge /li li teamwork skills /li li proactive problem-solving /li li EPMA (embedded for over 10 years) /li li pharmacy robotics /li li Omnicell /li /ul
