Overview
You will lead the regional clinical education service, shaping high-quality education across multiple counties. In this role you provide senior leadership to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring statutory training, onboarding and workforce development align with patient safety standards. You will translate strategy into practical education plans and assure quality and governance across the region. This is a values-led, impact-focused opportunity to strengthen staff capability and patient care. You will work closely with operational colleagues to deliver responsive, evidence-based education at scale.

Responsibilities
- Provide senior leadership to regional education teams and specialist leads across multiple counties
- Oversee delivery of statutory and mandatory training, onboarding, and workforce development priorities
- Ensure education is evidence-based and aligned with clinical guidance
- Support staff performance, wellbeing and professional standards through education governance
- Communicate and negotiate with senior operational colleagues and external partners to balance priorities and maintain safe, effective education delivery
Key requirements
- Significant senior experience in clinical education or workforce development within healthcare
- Experience leading and managing teams, including direct reports or specialist leads
- Experience delivering education across multiple sites or geographical areas
- Experience developing, implementing and evaluating education delivery plans
- Experience managing statutory and mandatory education compliance, onboarding or workforce capability programmes
- Clinical qualification (e.g., Paramedic, Nurse) and adult teaching qualification; minimum degree-level attainment with evidence of CPD
