The service provides 17 bedded mixed gender unit caters to patients from North East Essex and Mid Essex who require information admission.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will have shared responsibility for the clinical care of those patients referred to the team and will be expected to work closely with the consultant and team manager to ensure the provision of an effective service. Patients attend gatekeeping assessment from home treatment team and if the assessment identifies that patient needs an informal hospital admission they are admitted to Peter Bruff assessment unit.You should be eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold Section 12 (2) approval under the Mental Health Act 1983.
