b Overview /b p In this role you deliver Counselling for Depression within the Mid Devon TALKWORKS team to support clients with depression. You will assess and manage risk, maintain records, and engage in supervision and team discussions, contributing to service development. The position offers NHS Talking Therapies experience across Devon, with a mix of community- and home-based delivery. You’ll progress to Band 7 after completing the PCE-CfD training, with flexible hours and some evening work, supporting recovery-focused care. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li flexible working /li li part-time options /li li progression to Band 7 after CFd training /li li NHS pension not specified /li li supervised professional development /li li cross-location networking opportunities /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Deliver Counselling for Depression therapy to clients with depression /li li Assess clients and conduct risk assessments /li li Maintain careful notes and attend supervision and team meetings /li li Contribute ideas and reflections to the team /li li Travel to community locations and deliver remote sessions from home as required /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Diploma in humanistic /or person-centred counselling or psychotherapy (BACP recognised or equivalent) /li li Registered with a statutory health or social care regulatory body and/or BACP/UKCP/NCS as applicable /li li Minimum two years post-qualifying experience in brief counselling for common mental health problems, especially depression /li li Ability to travel to meet role requirements /li li Five-day training in PCE-CfD (or willingness to complete) /li /ul ul li Strong communication and ability to build therapeutic relationships /li li High motivation for development and innovation in evidence-based therapies /li li Good organisation and diary management /li li Assessment of depression and risk /li li Personalised adaptation of Counselling for Depression protocol /li li Decision-making on appropriate evidence-based therapy and referral pathways /li /ul
