Job summaryWe are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Mental Health for West Wiltshire and Devizes (WWKD). The WWKD CMHT covers patients from the CCG of the same name. There are 18 GP practices in the area with a total population of approximately 165000 of all ages. The team has office bases in Shearwater Lodge in Warminster and Green Lane Hospital Devizes. Community clinic facilities are available on a series of other sites within the catchment area.This will include on-going assessment, diagnoses (including review and clarification) and treatment of mental and physical health needs.As the post holder you will provide Medical input and leadership to the WWKD CMHT with particular responsibility for patients from surgeries in Melksham and Trowbridge.Assessment and treatment of outpatients in clinics.To fulfil the Responsible Clinician role with respect to patients subject to Community Treatment Orders.About usWe are AWP (Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust) a diverse organisation with over 5,000 dedicated staff providing inpatient and community-based mental health care.
