Overview
In this role you will provide dermatology care across outpatient clinics in Cumbria and Lancashire, including diagnostic assessments, minor procedures, and autonomous prescribing in a community setting. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care across multiple sites and tele-dermatology pathways. The position combines clinical leadership with hands-on dermatology, contributing to audits and service improvement. Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical triage and provide comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and advice for acute and chronic dermatological conditions
- Perform minor surgeries, including excision of low-risk basal cell carcinoma, following national guidelines
- Conduct audits of clinical standards and contribute to clinical leadership
- Provide systematic patient assessments including lifestyle considerations
- Participate in tele-dermatology clinics to review patient images and establish care pathways
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care
Key requirements
- Full GMC registration
