Job summaryWe have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Practice Lead to work closely with our Group Manager, supporting the day-to-day running of the practice and helping us maintain high standards across clinical, administrative and patient-facing services. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will play an important part in supporting our people, maintaining effective systems and processes, contributing to quality and compliance, and ensuring patients receive a safe, coordinated and positive service.

Main duties of the jobWorking alongside the Group Manager, your responsibilities will include: Supporting the day-to-day management and smooth running of the practice.

Helping to monitor and improve quality, performance and service standards.

Supporting the implementation of practice systems, processes and statutory requirements.

Working with the wider team to identify and resolve issues and improve how we work.

Preparing clinical rotas and booking locum clinicians in line with SPC guidance.

Supporting the induction, training, competency assessment and development of team members.

Helping to coordinate mandatory training, appraisals and regular staff reviews.

Supporting CQC compliance, clinical governance, incident management and complaints.

Maintaining effective systems for receiving and responding to patient feedback.

Supporting the PPG, including meeting preparation, agendas, actions and communication.

Assisting with Health & Safety, premises, security, repairs and equipment maintenance.

Supporting practice income generation, enhanced service claims and PPA claims.

Overseeing effective ordering and stock management for medical and practice supplies.

Supporting Smartcard audits and other practice IT systems. Maintaining patient information screens and assisting colleagues with straightforward IT queries.

Promoting effective communication and teamwork across the practice.

Identifying quality, safety and operational risks and escalating concerns appropriately.

Taking on other reasonable duties as required.
