b Overview /b p In this senior role, you will provide strategic operational leadership for urgent and emergency care within a large division. You will shape divisional plans, drive performance, workforce delivery, and transformation to meet current and future patient demand. Working with clinical and corporate partners, you’ll improve patient outcomes, resilience, and flow across the division. You will lead high-performing teams, develop business and workforce plans, and deliver significant service improvement in a complex healthcare setting. You bring visible, inclusive leadership and a track record of delivering change in demanding environments. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Deputise for the Divisional Director across the full range of divisional responsibilities /li li Lead delivery of operational, workforce, quality, financial and performance objectives /li li Develop and implement divisional business plans, workforce plans and productivity programmes /li li Hold senior managers accountable for agreed standards, plans and outcomes /li li Drive continuous improvement using data, operational intelligence and performance metrics /li li Lead workforce planning, recruitment, staff engagement, organisational development and succession planning /li li Collaborate with NHS providers and urgent care partners to improve patient pathways, reduce hospital handover delays and enhance resilience /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Significant senior operational leadership experience within the NHS, ambulance sector, emergency services or a similarly complex environment /li li Proven experience of delivering operational improvement and transformation /li li Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams through organisational change /li li Strong understanding of performance management, workforce planning, governance and patient safety /li li Experience managing significant budgets and resources /li li Exceptional communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills /li li Experience developing high-performing teams and leading through others /li li Ability to analyse complex information and make decisions in highly pressured environments /li li Ability to participate in the Trusts strategic on-call rota and undertake Gold Command responsibilities /li /ul ul li exceptional communication /li li leadership /li li stakeholder engagement /li li performance management /li li workforce planning /li li governance /li /ul
