Overview
To lead the People Partnering function across two NHS trusts, shaping workforce strategy and transformation. You will guide HR and OD partners, partnering with senior leadership to deliver workforce plans, change initiatives, and CIP delivery. Your role is pivotal for multi-site collaboration, driving culture change and aligning people services with organisational objectives. You’ll act as a trusted adviser, inspire teams, and ensure high standards of practice and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional HR advice and act as trusted advisor on complex, high-profile matters
- Lead HR and OD Business Partners to deliver workforce plans with finance and operations
- Support delivery of CIP plans and change management programmes
- Develop workforce strategies to attract, retain, and develop staff across diverse roles
- Champion equality, inclusion, and accessibility with the Head of EDI
- Collaborate with Head of Organisational Development to support cultural change and NHS People Promise commitments
- Provide inspirational leadership, role modelling, and performance standards across teams
Key requirements
- Masters degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Full CIPD membership or equivalent
- Extensive experience advising senior leadership on HR, change, TUPE, and complex ER
- Proven track record in large, high-performing environments
- Experience negotiating with trade unions and delivering business-led HR outcomes
- Knowledge of employment law and NHS terms and conditions
- Ability to build relationships across organisational boundaries and inspire confidence
