We believe in delivering the highest standards of care to our patients and providing our staff with a fulfilling and balanced work environment.

We are looking for a Salaried GP (with the option for Partnership if desired) to join our growing, multidisciplinary team. We are excited to welcome someone who shares our values of high-quality patient care, teamwork, and staff well-being.

What We Offer:

  • £11,700 per session per annum for newly qualified GPs, £12,012 per session per annum for GPs with 3+ years experience, with opportunities for additional income
  • Generous Leave: 8 weeks annual leave per year, plus bank holidays

  • Supportive Environment: Monthly team meetings for shared learning, a dynamic administrative and management team that helps reduce your workload, and opportunities for professional development

Main duties of the job:

  • Work with a Cutting-Edge Practice: Our practice is built around innovation and patient-centred care. We were pioneers in introducing telephone consulting over 8 years ago and have continually refined our systems to ensure excellent patient access while maintaining GP control over their workload.
  • Comprehensive Support System: We aim to minimize administrative burdens for GPs by leveraging our highly skilled Medical Secretary team, Medicines Management team, and dedicated clinical and administrative support. You'll have the time and space to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care to your patients.
  • Tailored Professional Development: We actively encourage GPs to explore their interests and enhance their day-to-day practice. Whether it's training GP registrars, collaborating with our award-winning research team, or developing clinics in specialties such as women's health, dermatology, or minor operations, we offer numerous opportunities to diversify your career.
  • Join a Large, Well-Supported Multidisciplinary Team: You'll work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, and a full-time Social Prescriber. For a practice of our size, home visit requests are minimal, allowing you to focus on patient care in a modern setting.

About Us: Located in the market town of Liskeard and the scenic moorland village of Pensilva, we are conveniently situated with excellent road and rail links to Plymouth and Truro, and the nearest sandy beach is only 20 minutes away! We are a forward-thinking, high-QOF achieving practice with 17,500 patients, two large dispensaries, a practice-owned pharmacy, and a well-established training program for GP registrars, nurses, and pharmacists. Our award-winning research team, alongside our commitment to the Green Impact for Health Platinum Award, demonstrates our dedication to innovation and sustainability.

If you want to work in a supportive, forward-thinking, and innovative environment that promotes staff well-being and offers excellent professional development, we would love to hear from you. Apply today to become part of our growing, dynamic team!
