They will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including therapy services, safeguarding teams and children in care services, to deliver integrated care pathways.Responsibilities include safeguarding duties, participation in the safeguarding rota and contributing to statutory processes. The role involves delivering care across community clinics, special schools and multi-agency settings, and contributing to neurodevelopmental assessments and pathways in partnership with education and social care.The post holder will share responsibility for the day-to-day management and development of the Community Paediatrics service, ensuring high clinical standards. They will participate in clinical governance, audit and quality improvement, and support teaching and supervision of junior staff and students.They will maintain CPD, engage in appraisal and revalidation, and work with external agencies including primary care, local authorities, education providers and the voluntary sector. The role includes contributing to service planning, pathway development and innovation, promoting equity of access and reducing health inequalities.
