Overview
In this role you will lead the North locality team to improve access and recovery targets within the NHS Talking Therapies service. You will oversee operational delivery, staff development and governance to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care. The role involves coordinating staffing, recruitment and data analysis to inform capacity planning. You will work with senior management to deliver service improvements and strengthen community links, with flexibility for working patterns.

Responsibilities
- Manage the North locality team to meet access and recovery targets
- Oversee operational delivery and staff development for quality of care
- Coordinate rotas, sickness, performance and conduct issues
- Attend weekly senior management meetings and lead monthly North team meetings
- Coordinate staff recruitment, training and scheduling
- Analyze clinical data, review current guidance and evaluate demand and capacity
- Be supervised by the Service Manager
Key requirements
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience of leading, coordinating or contributing to service delivery, improvement or change
- Knowledge of NHS Talking Therapies and its operational delivery
- Understanding of performance, quality, workforce and governance within NHS services
- Demonstrable leadership, influencing and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyse information, prioritise effectively, make sound decisions and lead improvement
- Experience of line management or operational management within healthcare or psychological therapies setting (desirable)
- Experience within NHS Talking Therapies, Psychological Therapies, Mental Health or related healthcare (desirable)
