b Overview /b p In this role you will join Whittington Health’s renowned Critical Care department to deliver high-quality care for critically ill adults. One post combines anaesthetics with critical care, the other focuses on critical care outreach within a stand-alone role. You will contribute to education, audit, and multi-professional service delivery, aligning with the Trust’s mission to provide equitable, high-standard care. This is a chance to shape critical care practice in a teaching hospital setting and collaborate across teams. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Join a well-structured Critical Care department and contribute to high-quality training and multi-professional service /li li Provide undergraduate and postgraduate education and participate in audit/data collection /li li Manage critically ill adults to standards set by the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine /li li Apply extensive organ support techniques /li li Refer to full job description for additional planning and duties /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Full GMC Registration /li li Entry onto the Specialist Register via CCT in ICM or CESR in ICM (proposed CCT date within 6 months of interview) /li li Higher Qualification in Critical Care Medicine (FFICM or European Diploma in ICM) /li li For split posts with Anaesthetics: CCT in Anaesthetics or CESR in Anaesthetics (proposed CCT within 6 months) /li /ul ul li Effective teaching and training skills /li li Strong communication with all staff and patients /li li Leadership and team management /li li Extensive organ support techniques /li li Experience of ICU Outreach /li li Familiarity with GPICS standards /li /ul
