The predicted salary is between 113565 - 150569 Β£ per year.
This is a full-time substantive consultant appointment for a radiologist with a special interest in Urogynae Imaging. The post will be predominately based at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. On Call service is based at CWH and includes cover of paediatric emergencies. Depending on the needs of the department, there will be scope for flexible working from West Middlesex Site for a limited number of sessions per week, if needed. The proposed job plan will be subject to change to allow for any future extended 7-day service requirement and provision of services across the entire Trust.
The applicant should be on the Specialist register of the GMC, or within 6 months of CCT and be a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists or equivalent. The successful candidate will have access to secretarial/administrator support from the Imaging department administrative/PA team. They will also have access to dedicated working office space within the radiology department where they will be able to base themselves and be part of the wider radiology team.
Main duties of the job
The job plan will be based on a 5-day week. The main responsibilities of the post are of a general and urogynae radiologist, with specific skills in HSG, general and transvaginal ultrasound, and prostate MRI. The post holder will be expected to support the gynaecology and urology MDTs. The post holder must be independent in prostate MRI and have an up-to-date logbook. Sessions for supporting general workload of the department will be dedicated to general CT/MRI and acute CT reporting. Interest in other subspecialties can be accommodated.
The 10 PA contract comprises 8.5 DCC sessions and 1.5 SPA session and will include diagnostic on-call.
