b Overview /b p In this role you will join ENHT’s hepatology team at the Lister Hospital, contributing to the ongoing development of the liver service. You will work within a collaborative, cross-site environment to deliver inpatient and outpatient hepatology care, including specialist clinics and registrar teaching. The post emphasizes leadership, innovation, and improving patient outcomes through multidisciplinary collaboration and service transformation. A strong focus is on training, governance, and maintaining high standards of care in a patient-centered Trust. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li relocation package up to 8000 /li li visa reimbursement up to 5000 (subject to approval) /li li potential total support up to 13000 /li li flexible working patterns /li li supportive work-life balance /li li opportunities for professional development /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide inpatient hepatology support across the hospital (ED, AMU, ITU) and on-call for upper GI endoscopy and ward cover /li li Deliver outpatient hepatology services and specialist clinics (viral hepatitis, post-transplant, MASLD, cirrhosis) /li li Contribute to registrar training and CNS-led clinics; participate in fibroscan services /li li Collaborate with Royal Free liver unit for tertiary hepatology support /li li Support service leadership, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives /li li Participate in surgical and medical MDTs and help develop local liver services /li li Engage in teaching and supervision of trainees and junior staff /li li Support quality improvement and audit activities to uphold best practice /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Entry on GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT; GMC registration with licence to practice or eligible for Specialist Register /li li MRCP or equivalent qualification /li li Broad range of hepatology experience; competence in diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy /li li Experience as a Locum Consultant; supervision of undergraduates and trainees; involvement in research/publications /li li Demonstrated engagement with clinical governance, appraisal/revalidation, and ongoing professional development /li li Up-to-date practice in line with GMC Good Medical Practice /li /ul ul li leadership and initiative /li li excellent teamwork and collaboration /li li situational awareness and good decision making /li li diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy /li li FibroScan (liver elastography) /li li management of viral hepatitis and post-transplant care /li /ul
