b Overview /b p In this full-time role you will provide expert forensic child and adolescent psychiatry clinical leadership, with potential to become Clinical Lead for the unit. You’ll contribute to service redesign and development, and collaborate closely with other inpatient units and cross-cover across sites. The role combines clinical, governance, and educational duties within a transformative Trust. You will drive high-quality, compassionate care in a regional, integrated mental health system. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li salary 113,565 to 150,569 per year /li li permanent contract /li li full-time role /li li opportunity for leadership as Clinical Lead /li li Trust CARE values (compassion, accountability, respect, excellence) /li li support for career development and collaboration /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li undertake timely administrative duties for patient care /li li record clinical activity accurately and comprehensively /li li participate in service and business planning /li li participate in annual consultant appraisal /li li attend and contribute to internal CPD programme /li li maintain GMC registration, MHA section 12(2) and Approved Clinician status /li li participate in job plan reviews to reflect service changes /li li work with managers to ensure efficient service delivery /li li manage, appraise and supervise junior medical staff per policies /li li assess competences under Modernising Medical Careers framework /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Full Registration with the General Medical Council /li li Approved Clinician status at start date /li li MRCPsych or recognised equivalent /li li Eligible for inclusion in Specialist Register as Forensic Psychiatrist and/or General Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist within 6 months of CCT /li li Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983 /li li Disclosure and Barring Service check /li li Current UK professional registration /li li Sponsorship eligibility considered /li li Knowledge of UK healthcare regulatory requirements /li /ul ul li leadership /li li team collaboration /li li communication /li li forensic psychiatry /li li child and adolescent psychiatry /li li Mental Health Act compliance /li /ul
