b Overview /b p In this role you will lead endocrine and diabetes clinical services across multiple sites, contributing to outpatient clinics, ward care, and on-call cover within a large NHS trust. You will participate in MDTs, triage referrals, and supervise a multidisciplinary team while engaging in undergraduate teaching. The position blends clinical leadership with teaching and regional collaboration, supporting high-quality patient care in endocrine disorders and diabetes. This is a chance to impact service development and education in a major teaching NHS environment. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Deliver four clinics per week (reduced when covering inpatient care) /li li Attend MDTs in person or virtually /li li Triaging endocrinology/diabetes referrals on the FDP system /li li Review ward referrals to the service /li li Contribute to care of general medicine patients on rota /li li Participate in acute on-call rota for emergencies and ambulatory care /li li Supervise junior doctors and multidisciplinary team /li li Undertake undergraduate teaching /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li MRCP or equivalent /li li GMC register - Licence to practice /li li GMC Specialist Register for Anaesthesia (or within 6 months of CCT) /li li Desirable: MD, PhD or FRCPath; CCT in Endocrinology GIM /li /ul ul li Good interpersonal skills /li li Ability to work well in a team /li li Ability to work well under pressure /li li Clinical leadership in development of clinical services /li li Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching /li li Quality improvement emphasis (desirable) /li /ul
