Job summaryDue to retirement from critical care, we are excited to expand our intensive care consultant team. The post is suitable for doctors with a CCT in intensive care medicine AND anaesthesia. Anaesthesia sessions will be negotiated at job planning but would particularly suit an applicant with an interest in obstetric anaesthesia. Main duties of the jobThe post will be based at Sunderland Royal Hospital, but the postholder will work (including out of hours) both on this site and in South Tyneside District Hospital. As well as the clinical aspects of the role, the successful applicant will be expected to be active in non-clinical areas, particularly in education.
